• Roof:
  • Inspect & repair any damage;
  • Check ice damage, add attic insulation or ventilation as necessary.
• Interior:
  • Replace furnace filters monthly or as recommended by manufacturer;
  • Repair windows & screens;
  • Check crawl spaces for leeks or moisture;
  • Check cooling system prior to hot weather;
  • Open vents in crawl spaces;
  • Check smoke detectors;
  • Check drains, have sewer pipes cleaned if necessary.
• Lawn/Landscape:
  • Plant trees, shrubs, flowers;
  • Remove left-over fallen leaves, dead plants and lawn debris. Trim shrubs that brush against the house.
  • Plant grass seed in bare patches.
  • Fertilize your lawn;
  • Open exterior faucets;
  • Check underground sprinkler system for leaks, exposed lines, & backflow protection.
• Foundation/Exterior Surfaces
  • Check walls, floors for cracking/heaving;
  • Check grading around foundation for proper drainage, add soil where needed;
  • Check wood surfaces at soil level for deterioration;
  • Check deck, patio, porch, stairs, railings for deterioration;
  • Repair any gutter leaks.
